We're Back! and also The 10 #2 is up!!!

We are back up and running. After a horrible battle with a dead harddrive that contained all of HCRs data we have come out winners, and that is all that is being said about the matter.
In other news a new episode of the Neoxatronix 10 is ready for upload. it was made a few weeks ago but it is still a killer mix. (track list and link below). Also "Days of GEON" will be starting again (or for the first time) in the next few days once i sit down and relisten to each album. Speaking of GEON and music, Warren Mulaney, GEONs alter ego or whatever you would like to call it, has finished up his first EP titled Mr. Mountain and it is exactly what you would expect: Dreamy soundscapes, feedback, trance enducing, and moody. Look for that sometime inthe next few days.

Hypnotic Convoy Records and Neoxatronix are proud to bring to you "The 10", a weekly mix of the top 10 songs that we are listening to at the moment. Whether it is new or old, everything from twee to rap to electroclash to rock to covers, remixes, exclusives, etc will be thrown into the mix. Look for this to be available for download every Thursaday/Friday. Hopefully this weekly mix will expose you to some really great artists that may have gone unheard otherwise.

Starting this week HypConRecs will be releasing the full catalog of albums from Glowing Eyes of Neon (G.E.O.N.) with a full descrption and breakdown of each album along with a download link. The first album up is the debut album "CASTLE BIANCA" from 2008.

Happy 2009! sorta

Happy late 2009 to everyone and welcome to the new home of HYPNOTIC CONVOY RECORDS. In the past there have been attempts to create a place where our music and label news can be shared but it never quite panned out the way we wanted it to. This brings us to this new site and a new format. Over the next few months there are going to be lots of changes going on within the label as we move forward with our ideas and start to make a showing in the music world. In the past there have been promises of albums for download and merchandise and the lot but we were unable to do it. That has all changed, it is a new year, we have a new home, there are some new artists, and a new outlook towards the future.
In the coming days and weeks look for album downloads, videos, exclusives, photos, and GEON's new internet radio show "GEON presents: NEOXATRONIX RADIO". We have a few releases underway as well: The long awaited, much anticipated debut release from HYPCON Records label mates Glowing Eyes of Neon (G.E.O.N.) and Steve Shark in a collaboration they dubbed "CPASE" with the album "PONCHO VILLA CONQUEST". This album can only be described as intense. Also along the way keep an eye out for the pre album e.p. "SAVAGE PIECES" and the demo recording "SONGS FROM THE RED ROOM". Other works from HYPCONREC artists include: "WINTER SESSIONS E.P." from THEY ONCE WERE GODS, "GEON AND FRIENDS VOL 3", and the new full length album from GLOWING EYES OF NEON.
more information will be coming for all of these releases in the future.

its going to be a big year for the Hypnotic Convoy Crew in 2009 so keep a look out.
